Guatemala Finca El Durazno

 

Hints of lemon and honey are followed up with warm notes of cinnamon and graham cracker in this washed Guatemalan coffee. A velvety body lends itself to vibrant flavor and subtle sweetness.

Finca el Durazno was originally founded in Huehuetenango as a corn farm in 1980. Since then, it has remained in the family for three generations and has been established as a coffee farm by Ocatio Lopez Camposeco. On this particular lot of coffee, a 'dryer' fermentation technique was used where farmers apply minimal water to the batch for a 36 hour ferment. Following fermentation, a double washing style is implemented to ensure that the coffee comes out extra clean.
