Jose Herrera's Finca El Ciprez is a small, family–run farm located in Huabal, Peru. Coffee farming has been the trade of choice for several generations in the Herrera family. The farm itself is adjacent to a protected forest and the beautiful Chorro Blanco waterfall. Cypress trees, sugar cane, and banana trees provide biodiversity and shade coverage for the coffee plants. There is a strict focus on leveraging sustainable, organic growing practices to produce the best coffee possible while reducing harm to the environment.
